jbl jUMP fest has written its first chapter

• On September 15, 2016, dreams became reality and a “street athletics” meeting was held in Košice.
• Twins Dana and Jana Velďáková became the ambassadors of the event.
• The host of the event was great athletics manager Alfons Juck.
• The highlight of the first year was Dana Velďáková’s triple jump 14.08 m, which is still a valid meeting record.
• The youngest competed in the pre-program, and youth talents from the east also had the opportunity to jump in at a non-traditional venue.
• Ján Volko, still unknown at that time, taught athletic talents how to properly kneel into the starting blocks.
